Marina Bay Beach Clean-Up & Spring Showcase (Richmond)

Join us for a family fun day of song as we help to preserve the California Coast! Kairos is honoring the earth on Sunday, March 27th by hosting a park and beach clean-up at Marina Park in the City of Richmond. The free event combines a morning community clean-up with an afternoon live performance demo by Kairos Youth Choir, presenting selected scenes from their upcoming spring musical, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Kairos has been circling the earth with song for over thirty years, and is deeply committed to supporting environmental awareness and activism related to climate change. Help protect our coast and oceans and keep Richmond clean!

When: Sunday, March 27, 9:00 – 3:00 PM
Where: Marina Park, Richmond
Check-in for volunteers: 9 AM, meet at the west end of Marina Park
Performance: 1:30 PM, stage at the west end of Marina Park

This is a FREE event and all activities are open to the public. We will strictly adhere to the most current State and West Contra Costa County Guidelines for COVID-19 Safety. Masks and social distancing required for all volunteers and participants. Funded by a Love Your Block Mini-Grant from the City of Richmond City Manager’s Office, Economic Development and Community Services Department.
