Migration Commences  (The Golden Gate)

Everyone Welcome

It’s the first LushNature bird count of the fall. Migrants abound. Hawks blast over the strait as we relish stunning views from beneath the iconic bridge.

Want a free ticket? Anyone who cannot afford to attend can simply contact James Aliberti – jamesaliberti@hotmail.com for a free ticket. Regular ticket costs $30.

September means a steady flow of passing passerines. Warm sunny mornings and flat bay waters produce opportunities to view seabirds,  pinnipeds, and cetaceans. Our last count had California Thrasher and Red-necked Phalarope, and the trip before that had White Pelican and Western Kingbird; so you never know what you’ll gander upon on the next LushNature excursion.

See you soon, in LushNature.
