2019 Architecture & the City Festival | SF
The 16th annual month-long celebration features behind the scenes and walking tours, films, exhibitions, lectures and more that address varying aspects of the design and planning process.
This years festival theme, “We the City”, aims to explore how cultural diversity and connectivity inspire and inform the built environment. From the Dogpatch to the Outer Sunset — San Francisco is a unique, diverse, and multi-generational mosaic.
“Perspectivas 2015: Playing with Urban Fabric” an exhibition which aims to showcase the work and talent of architects, urban planners, interior designers, artists, and related fields practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area. Opening Reception: September 18, 2015, 6-8 pm at Perkins + Will San Francisco at 2 Bryant Street.
Free, but an RSVP is required.
The body of work not only addresses and defines PLAY within an architectural context, but also how PLAY can be integrated into the urban fabric, such us public spaces or objects that can bring the concept of Play to the viewer or spectator.
The event is hosted by Latinos in Architecture (LiA), a committee of the American Institute of Architects San Francisco Chapter (AIASF)
