Picnic, Artwork & Outreach for Hong Kong | Oakland

In 7-month after the Yuen Long attack and also the current Hong Kong medical workers call for border shutdown amid coronavirus outbreak, a group of Hong Kongers in San Francisco Bay Area is collaborating with “Runners for Hong Kong” (https://www.facebook.com/groups/runnersforhk/)” to host (2) events in the East Bay area to show support and solidarity with Hong Kong people, who are fighting for political injustice and facing the threat from the deadly coronavirus outbreak.

Bring your kids and family to join our picnic by the beautiful Lake Merrit, Oakland. There will also be card signing and other art projects that we will send the final products back to HK to show support to HK people, which does not limited to front-liners, but also medical staff, (who are undergoing strike aimed at pressuring the government into sealing the border with mainland China), reporters, first aid, church members, social workers etc.

The Run & Walk for Hongkong is at 11 am at Lake Merritt.
