Run & Picnic for Hong Kong | Oakland

Bring your kids and family to join our run/walk followed by a picnic by the beautiful Lake Merritt, Oakland. There will also be card signing and other art projects that we will send back to Hong Kong to boost their morale (not limited to frontliners, but also medical staff, reporters, first aid workers, etc.).

Also join the outreach efforts to talk to locals in the area and distribute leaflets about what is going on in Hong Kong.

Let’s not forget the 7.21 Yuen Long terrorist attack and also support Hong Kong medical workers who are facing the threat of coronavirus.

In the 7 months after the attack, a group of Hong Kongers in the San Francisco Bay Area are collaborating with us, Runners for Hong Kong, to host (2) events in the East Bay Area to show support and solidarity with the Hong Kong people facing the threats from the Wuhan Coronavirus and fighting for justice under political unrest.

A running route will be posted (~3 miles) in the near future but feel free to run or walk however much you want. Don’t forget to wear HK shirts or all black.
