Plated: Celebrated Chef Demo & Tasting | Embarcadero

Come to Plated, Embarcadero Center’s Saturday morning series of free intimate chef interviews and cooking demos featuring Farmer’s Market fresh items, complete with recipes for everyone to enjoy at home.

Free, but an RSVP is required for each event.

Tastes will be provided for the first 100 guests. The food lover events will hosted by Liam Mayclem, San Francisco’s Foodie Chap, in the Urban Patio in Two Embarcadero Center, Street Level at 11 am  on select Saturdays throughout the year.

Chef Gerald Hirigoyen grew up in the basque region of France where his interest in the kitchen started at an early age. His signature is incorporating fresh ingredients into simple yet scrumptious dishes that echo the local spirit as well as that of his homeland. Both he and Cameron Hirigoyen have been featured in Gourmet, Bon Appetit, The New York Times and Chef Gerald Hirigoyen has been San Francisco Magazine’s “Chef of the Year” two times! Chef Hirigoyen has also been nominated for the James Beard Award: “Best Chef, California” in 2006. Chef Hirigoyen and the restaurants have appeared in television programs on The Food Network, ABC, CBS, PBS, and NBC.
