Event Details

UPDATE – this event has unfortunately been postponed.

This New Year’s Day has a fabulous low tide at a great hour of the day! Sooo, my team arts business is continuing the semi-tradition and hosting a public art-making on Ocean Beach in San Francisco.

We’ll also be conducting beach art workshops in the new year now that the tides are in our favor (happening during daylight hours on the weekend, unlike during the summer!)

Join us to celebrate the New Year with a large community artwork on the beach! We are offering an informal, drop in style, artwork to be created by the community. Last year’s creation was a beautiful success and we are excited to be offering the art tools and guidance for another earthscape artwork.

All ages, everyone is welcome! This is an informal, celebratory, and community gathering for creative expression and nature connection. This is FREE, but please register so we can have a sense of how many will be joining us. You will also receive exact location and information upon registration. Rakes and art tools will be provided. However, if you would like to purchase a rake to keep and bring home with you to continue to make more beach art, you can do so here: Buy a rake. You must make this purchase prior to the event, we will not be selling rakes on the beach.
