As Richmond’s first Black woman Poet Laureate, her work explores the intersectionality of Blackness, womanhood, and survivor culture. She is the author of Unto Ivy’s Rib and the forthcoming book And All My Flowers. CieraJevae has performed for Youth Speaks, The Innocence Project, Black Joy Parade, and Kristi Yamaguchi’s Always Dream Foundation. She earned her MFA in Writing from California College of the Arts and is the Spoken Arts Department Head at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts in San Francisco.
Ian Santillano:
Ian Santillano is a genre bending Filipino-American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer. Ian’s music showcases his love for clever harmony, soulful melodies, subconscious grooves, and exceptional guitar work. His songs resonate for their heartfelt lyricism and authentic delivery.
Bianca Brown:
A graduate of Oakland School for the Arts, Bianca (BB) Brown has grown up surrounded by music. While at OSA, she was vocally trained in various genres including R&B, musical theater, jazz, and classical music. She took what she learned there and combined it with her natural ear for music to teach herself piano. Outside of singing and piano, BB gained an affinity to beat-boxing, composing, arranging, voice impressions, and production. Up until May 2022, she took her craft seriously and self-produced and played every instrument on her first project, a 5 track EP titled “Is Anybody Home?”
