SF Group Hike Adventure: Explore Sand Dunes & Hilltops

Golden Gate Heights Park is a 7-acre San Francisco park offering panoramic city, ocean, and Golden Gate Bridge views, with a recently renovated playground, tennis courts, picnic areas, and both landscaped and natural forested trails.

We trek through breathtaking, sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the city skyline, especially from the west side trails.

Eventually we arrive at the beautiful Grandview Park, a hilltop park known for its stunning 360-degree panoramic views of the city skyline, Golden Gate Park, the Pacific Ocean, and surrounding areas. Atop a unique 140-million-year-old rock formation, the park preserves one of the city’s last remaining dune communities, featuring native plants and wildlife.
