Myanmar (Burma) is home to major ethnicities and a multicultural, multilingual, multiethnic society with their own distinct cultures and languages. The multiethnic rally in San Francisco highlights the diversity and solidarity of this community.

We declare that the Burmese diaspora in the United States, including Kachin, Karenni, Karen, Chin, Bamar, Mon, Arakan, Shan, and other ethnic groups with different faiths, are in one spirit and we will gather together

– to stand against the Myanmar military coup,
– to support Federal Democracy,
– to stand with Civil Disobedience Movement in Burma and
– to welcome and support National Unity Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar

* on 05/29/21 (Saturday)
