BART Basel is the leading train platform connecting collectors, gallerists, and artists.
Our next show is Saturday, 12/14, 2024 from 4pm-5:30pm in San Francisco
Meet downstairs on the Embarcadero Station platform at 4pm!
Wear eclectic formal wear.
Eclectic formal attire is recommended in the galleries.
There’s 3 participating galleries showing significant works. All on BART.
SF BART Basel Gallery Schedule
We will travel together to each platform.
- 4:00 – 4:27pm — Embarcadero
- 4:32 – 4:55pm — Civic Center
- 5:01 – 5:30pm — Glen Park
Itinerary is subject to slight modifications.
Optional afterparty at SFO Int’l Terminal!
Artists, collectors, and gallery reps—remember: stay inside the yellow line and please stand clear of the closing doors.
VIP registration is open for everyone! Also, we’re curating the art collection this year and will assign stations for selected pieces. Note: we cannot accept every piece.

What art are we looking at?
In addition to networking with celebrities and models on BART, we’ll be revealing a variety of sculptures which will be located on pedestals at each platform. Exclusive artwork may be available for the finest of BART collectors.Read your confirmation email for more info on the artworks.
Who are the gallerists?
At each station we’ll reveal a new gallery manager.
What if I miss BART?
We’ll be at each station for 20-30 minutes. Check the schedule to try to find us! Try to aim to get to Embarcadero at 4pm, so you can stay with the group as we roam.
How much are tickets?
BART Basel is free! But BART itself has transit fare costs. Expect to pay up to $9 for the full journey.
Is this an official BART event?
This is not an official BART sponsored event.
What is the dress code?
Think: eccentric art collector going to a super fancy art show. Colorful suits. Gold shoes. A long sequin dress. Tuxedos! We’ll be providing special lanyards and wrist bands.
