Event Details

Imagine a Sunday evening sitting at Ocean Beach listening to inspiring music created just for this event while watching the sunset in the far horizon.

Join up for this free immersive, site-specific group listening called Soundwave ((6)) Water.

Meet at Outer Sunset’s art gallery, 3 Fish Studios, and join the group for a walk to a special location at Ocean Beach with composer Nat Evans. The group will be led to a spot where you will sit, observe, and listen to a musical composition.

Two tours will be held; register online for your spot (limited spots per tour):
– Sunset tour: 7:15 pm (Sold Out) – Check-in at 7:15 pm; depart at 7:30 pm sharp
– Twilight tour: 8 pm (Sold Out) – Check-in at 8:00 pm; depart at 8:15 pm sharp

Seattle composer Nat Evans has created a music piece specifically for Soundwave ((6)) Water’s July 27th event, where at sunset and twilight, the group can trace the changing of space, water and light as the tide recedes. Download the music piece before hand.

Event Update

The sunset and twilight tours are now full. A wait list will be created starting at 6 pm at 3 Fish Studios if there are no-shows on the day of event.

Meet Up: 3 Fish Studios, 4541 Irving St, San Francisco
Join for a group listening event created specifically for the observation of the receding tide at San Francisco’s Ocean Beach by composer Nat Evans. This time and site-specific event will trace the changing of space, water and light as the tide recedes. Hang out with the group before and after your tour at 3 Fish Studios for an outdoor soiree, complete with drinks and art.

Download the music onto your portable listening device before the event. Please bring warm jackets and blankets as Ocean Beach can be foggy and windy.

Please note, this event occurs on Sunday, July 27, not Saturday, July 26, as was originally published.
