“Course of the Force” 2013 | Star Wars Lightsaber Relay

Course of the Force is an Olympic-style torch relay, but with lightsabers.

The relay, which benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation, is part of a week-long Star Wars event that runs from San Francisco to down to the San Diego Comic Con.

Cheer the costumed runners on, starting at Pier 50, and then crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, and then join the party at “Conival” at Justin Herman Plaza on July 10, 2013, where the relay will pause so that fans can participate in mini conventions with games, food, live music, expo booths, and more.

At the end of the “Course of the Force” Lightsaber relay (which takes place from 8:30 am to 11 am along the streets of SF), join thousands of Star Wars fans for a six hour mini-convention at Justin Herman Plaza.

Expect live music, costumed characters, geek vendors, and lots of other entertainment (perfect if you’ve been looking for love in Alderaan places).
