Omnivore Books on Food is a teeny Noe Valley bookstore, their shelves packed floor to ceiling with hundreds of new, antiquarian, and collectible titles, on all manner of food and cooking.
The store hosts frequent events including book signings, chef talks, author readings, cooking contests, and food and drink tastings.
Join John McReynolds as he discusses Stone Edge Farm from 3-4 pm on March 8, 2014.
This event is free with wine and small plates from the farm and vineyard.
With more than a hundred heirloom vegetables plus olive groves, fruit trees, ornamental plants, herbs, chickens, and beehives, in addition to grapevines, Stone Edge Farm is a wondrously diverse and productive organic garden on a large scale; chef John McReynolds will share his knowledge and his food.
