Street Drum Corps: Apocalyptic Hip-Hop | Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

Street Drum Corps is an explosion of drums, dance, and high energy entertainment. From July 6 – August 14, 2014, Street Drum Corps will be performing two shows daily at noon and at 3 pm, Monday-Thursday, and at noon and 6 pm on Sundays.

The acclaimed drummers are famous for finding the beat in unusual places, from garbage cans to kitchenware and rain barrels. Their unique style of junkyard percussion and apocalyptic hip-hop delivers an attention-grabbing performance that explodes with excitement. Joined by dancers from the Academy of Villains, the futuristic band of misfits brings their contagious enthusiasm and serious talent to the Boardwalk’s Beach Bandstand this summer.
