Bring your picnic basket and lawn chair and enjoy the sounds of tango at this free outdoor concert at the Oshman Family JCC.
San Francisco-based Tangonero specializes in classic tango – a genre that fuses intense passion with quiet tenderness, alternating sharp percussive rhythms with slow nostalgic melodies.
The quartet of Michele Walther, Zac “Sharbidar” Selissen, Alex Roitman and Jacob Johnson will squeeze your heart to tears and then set your feet to dancing.
“On the Town” Concert Series
The concert is one of three, free events at the OFJCC that make up their “On The Town” summer concert series. Other performances include the Capriccio Chamber Orchestra on Saturday, July 21 and the French-Roma-Flamenco Band Djiin on Saturday, August 4.
