The Christmas Project 2014: Homeless Hot Chocolate Delivery | Market Street

At 9 am on Christmas Day, December 25, 2014 Crosswords USA will hit downtown San Francisco to share love and warmth with those who don’t have homes or families to be with on Christmas Day.

They’re building the following teams for Christmas Project 2014

• Clothing Donations Team
• Snack Donations Team
• Beverage Donations Team
• Hygiene Donations Team
• Technology Team (Film & Photography)
• Christmas Day Team

If you are interested in joining any of the teams specifically please let them know. In past years they’ve delivered warm hot chocolate and quality time to anyone and everyone they come across. They are working to collect coats, socks, shoes, umbrellas, snacks, travel coffee cups, and anything that would share the love with the people they will be reaching Christmas Day.

Join the Crew and Help Spread the Joy

Each year The Christmas Project team packs up wagons, carts, and boxes with clothes and baked goods to deliver them to the homeless on Christmas Day. They meet at Justin Herman Plaza and work our way up Market Street with all the donations we’ve received.

If you have donations that you’d like distributed on Christmas Day please visit the project page, click that you’re attending (Even if just for donations), and they can arrange how to get donations to the right locations for our teams.

If you’d like to organize a coat drive or baking event in your area they can provide marketing images and help create group pages, and possibly send a representative to help you host the event.
