Come out to Transit Week, a celebration of public transportation put on by the San Francisco Transit Riders. It kicks off Monday, Sept. 24th and features lots of transit-oriented programming and activities through Friday, Sept. 28th.

Kick off third annual Transit Week with city and state leaders to raise the visibility of public transit and all those who ride it.

Join us to learn more about SF Transit Riders and Transit Week, and hear from city leadership on what lines they’ll be riding all week, their current thoughts on public transit, and how they’re working to improve transit in San Francisco. Meet at City Hall, 1 Dr Carlton B Goodlett Place (Polk Street side).

Join in for a ride-along from your district

  • District 1 with Supervisor Sandra Fewer: Geary/25th at 8:30 a.m.
  • District 2 with supervisor candidates: Fillmore/Chestnut at 8:30 a.m.
  • District 3 with Supervisor Aaron Peskin: Caffe Trieste, 601 Vallejo St at 8:30 a.m.
  • District 4 with Supervisor Katy Tang: Taraval/22nd at 8:30 a.m.
  • District 5 with Supervisor Vallie Brown: Haight/Masonic at 8:45 a.m.
  • District 6 with supervisor candidates: 4th/King at 8:45 a.m.
  • District 8 with Senator Scott Wiener: Church/20th at 8:45 a.m.
  • District 9 with Supervisor Hillary Ronen: Mission/Cortland at 8:45 a.m.
  • District 10 with supervisor candidates: 3rd/Palou at 8:30 a.m.
