Tree Lighting Ceremony & Holiday Light String Exchange | Alameda

Arrive early to get a seat for you, your family, and friends to enjoy holiday entertainment and the tree lighting ceremony in front of Alameda City Hall.

Entertainment will include performances by:

• The Community Band
• The Mistle Tones
• The Dancing Christmas Trees

Children will also receive souvenirs and a visit from Santa

Also, before you take your seat and enjoy the evening’s entetainment, exchange your old holiday light string for a new, energy efficient LED light string. Bring one old string to the Alameda Municipal Power’s table, along with a copy of your electric bill, to participate. Supplies are limited

This event is part of the 2010 City of Alameda Mayor’s Hometown Holiday Weekend.
