Event Details

Join us for a tour of landmark trees in the Forest Hill neighborhood led by Mike Sullivan, long-time tree tour leader, former FUF Board Chair, and author of The Trees of San Francisco. Forest Hill is one of San Francisco’s “best-treed” neighborhoods, and this will be the first-ever FUF tour of that neighborhood, so be sure to make this one.

  • Meet at 381 Magellan (near Montalvo) in front of the Bernard Maybeck-designed Forest Hill Association Clubhouse.
  • we will be traversing several staircases in the neighborhood, so be prepared for some strenuous walking.
  • MUNI L, M, K, T, 17, 36, 44, 48, 52

About Friends of the Forest: Friends of the Urban Forest arranges tours of the beautiful trees, parks, and natural spaces of San Francisco. Our Tree Tours happen rain or shine. Bring comfortable shoes that can get dirty. We also recommend you bring water and a camera (for all the beautiful trees). Be advised that some terrain may prevent the passage of wheeled mobility devices. Tours begin promptly.

All tours are free, but to ensure that you’re included, please RSVP to Sarah Campbell at sarah@fuf.net unless otherwise noted.

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
