Event Details

On May 5 from 12-4 p.m., the San Mateo County Historical Association will present Old Woodside Store Day, a free family event!

Visitors will be invited to experience life in the 1880s, as activities will focus on the history of the Woodside Store and the redwood logging that occurred in the region.

The Woodside Storekeepers volunteer docent group will demonstrate and invite the public to use a two person saw, make shingles with a mallet and a froe, wash clothes with an old-fashioned machine, twine rope, churn butter and create old-time dolls to take home. Also, as a special bonus, there will be traditional Blue Grass music.

The Woodside Store is located at 3300 Tripp Road in Woodside.
