The Exploratorium hosts the West Coast premiere of Sam Green’s “Fog City,” a cinematic meditation on Bay Area fog.
The film offers a poetic view of a complex natural phenomenon that for months each year defines the Bay Area landscape, and is a meditative piece on the mystery and beauty of fog.
During four screenings, at 7pm and 9pm on October 2 and 3, 2013, Green presents “Fog City” as a “live documentary,” narrating and cuing the film live with a live score performed by NYC–based band The Quavers.
