Event Details

Join Artist Jennifer Roberts for a lively discussion of her work from her debut solo exhibit, The Hex And Other Stories. Jennifer will describe her process, the importance of symbolism and macro/micro scale, and her path to becoming an artist. This free talk will include a walk-around of the works on display at the library, and audience members will have the chance to ask her questions. Come for the free art, stay for the swag! Attendees will receive a commemorative postcard to take home.

Jennifer Roberts is an Argentine Tango dancer and is drawn to the intimacy and loss of self that this art form enables, visually explored throughout her work. Her mixed media work reflects a dance between control and spontaneity and appears both organic and otherworldly, inviting viewers to experience a dynamic tension between lightness and darkness.
