Legendary and lovable pervert/filmmaker John Waters visits Green Apple Books on 9th Ave. to read from “Carsick,” his account of hitchhiking across America.
They’re celebrating the paperback publication of Carsick with an intimate and exclusive town hall-style event with the legendary John Waters. This is your chance to ask Mr. Waters your burning questions about hitchhiking, Hairspray, and Divine.
This event was originally intended to be free, but due to crazy demand; it has since become a ticketed event. Because Mr. Waters wants to do this event in the store; they’re obligated to limit the attendance to 125 people. A $25 ticket gets you a signed copy of Carsick and a beverage and a chance to win a limited edition print.
