2013 San Francisco History Expo: Saturday | Old Mint
The San Francisco History Expo brings local and neighborhood history groups together under one roof on March 2-3, 2013 at The Old Mint.
This is an opportunity for people of all ages to learn about—and participate in—San Francisco history though presentations, photographs, artifacts, children’s activities, and historical reenactments.
New for 2013 will be antique fire trucks in front of the Old Mint to start your adventure. Inside, exhibitors will fill the first floor, with additional organizations in the historic vaults on the ground floor. The Expo Theater will host presentations and films throughout the weekend.
Beverages will be sold in the Courtyard by Flipside, a group of young professionals interested in San Francisco history. Food trucks from Off The Grid, the popular roaming food trucks, will be selling food on Mint Street behind the Mint.
