Wooden Boats on Parade 2012 | Golden Gate Park The San Francisco Model Yacht Club Presents Wooden Boats on Parade – the 10th bi-annual event which will be held at beautiful Spreckels Lake on Sunday, September 30, 2012 starting at 9:30. The lake is located at 36th Avenue and Fulton in Golden Gate Park.

Come see dozens of wooden boat enthusiasts taken their model boasts of for a ride – sail and power, radio-controlled and static.

This event is being held to promote the skills of building and handling model boats of all types by showcasing vintage model power and sailboats, both running and static, all together in a relaxed, non-competitive setting.
