What’s better than “air guitar?” how about “air sex!” Yup, there’s an actual competition for people who like to fake doing the nasty on stage.
See SF’s best air sexers compete on stage at the Elbo Room in the 2012 Air Sex Championships: Preliminary round. It’s all done tongue in cheek, of course (hopefully just figuratively)
What’s at stake? The winners of each round in each city will be flown to compete in the 2012 Air Sex World Championship Finals in the summer.

What is “Air Sex”?
Unlike air guitar, there are not many other rules. Props are allowed, teams are allowed, talking is allowed. The only important rule is that all sexual climaxes must be simulated, not real. Contestants need to come up with an awesome stage name(like “Shanghai Slammer”) and have up to 3 minutes to perform an Air Sex routine.
