Harlequin Musette
plays French music written from the late 19th century to early 20th century. The fin de siècle was the height of artistic expression in France, and the music from that time is no exception. Harlequin Musette focuses on the bal-musette dance rhythms from that time, including waltz, tango, and swing. Rob Reich’s accordion is at the helm of this quartet, which includes Sheldon Brown, alto saxophone; Daniel Fabricant, bass; and Elizabeth Goodfellow, drums. Dancing is encouraged, but certainly not necessary to enjoy this timeless, exciting music. www.robreich.com
