Did you know that nearly 40% of greenhouse gas emissions come from the natural gas we use in our buildings? And that moving forward—electrifying—or switching our furnaces, stoves, water heaters, and clothes dryers from gas to electricity—will be key to controlling global warming? Many people don’t know that buildings are our second biggest source of greenhouse gas emissions (cars are the first).
