Hopocalypse Day 2023 at Drake’s Brewing Company

In a future, where cities become deserts, roads become battlefields, and the hope of mankind becomes a stranger, just one beer can make a difference. Enter, the Hopocalypse.

On February 4th, 2023, witness the return of HOPOCALYPSE Day at Drake’s Brewing Company between the hours of 2PM to 6PM PST. Among this endless wasteland of hell-bent destruction and isolation, Drake’s holds the key to our salvation by allowing access to their scarce liquid resources to a few select survivors. Now is your chance to get your “mad” hands on as much HOPOCALYPSE guzzolene as you can carry. HOPOCALYPSE Triple IPA (black), HOPOCALYPSE Double IPA (green), HOPOCALYPSE Hazy Double IPA (white) and the newly formulated HOPOCALYPSE Crisp Double IPA (chrome) have all been refined for your needs, proving only the strongest will prevail. Are you up for the task?

Massively hopped brews will dominate the beer lineup, with several alternate options for those who are less hop-inclined. Costumes per the post-apocalyptic theme are highly encouraged, with the best of the best recognized in the first-ever Hopocalypse costume contest. Embrace your inner warrior by visiting our Warrior Salon for face paint & braids, or test the limits of your physical strength in the THUMBderdome. Other apocalyptic activations include DJs and live music, axe throwing, turkey legs, Dinky Drake’s stew, fire dancers, and more!

PRESALES: Hopocalypse Triple IPA (black) & Hopocalypse Crisp Double IPA (chrome)

• Beer presales are eligible for event ticket or non-event ticket holders (open to all)
• Beers pre-purchased by event goers may be picked up at Hopocalypse Day
• Beers pre-purchased by non-event goers can be picked up after Hopocalypse Day at Drake’s Barrel House during normal business hours from February 5th to February 19th.
• LIMITATIONS: each order is limited to a MAX of 6 4-packs per style (ie one case max per style, per order)
• Hopocalypse Triple IPA (black): A combination of malt, body and booze hold your taste buds in submission while hops thick with grapefruit, pine, mandarin orange and lemon release them. This massive beer will take hold of your senses and when it leaves your tongue you’ll resent its absence.
• Hopocalypse Crisp Double IPA (chrome): In a world full of IPAs, Hopocalypse Chrome is unequaled. Forged by the need for reprieve from the everyday IPA it rescues you from the mundane and quenches your thirst with intense flavors of mango, papaya, pine resin and fresh grass.

• Drake’s resource center will be open rain or shine.
• All shelter seekers must be 21+. No canines or other creatures authorized.
• No growler or rhino fills permitted at this event.
• Additional tasting tickets will be available for purchase onsite.
• GA tickets will cost $70 at the door if this event does not sell out prior.
• VIP tickets are available during online pre-sale ONLY
• Drake’s Barrel House will be CLOSED for regular service all day.
• Safe transport across the wasteland can be sourced through FLEX RIDES shuttles from San Leandro Bart station to the West Gate Shopping Center OR use our discount code with Lyft for $5 off your ride to or from the event (while available). The Lyft code will be shared via our Instagram the week prior to Hopoc Day, so make sure to follow us @drakesbeer for all event updates!
