ArtHouseSF.org brings you back in time to Beat era North Beach, where poets and jazz musicians made literary history with an electrifying combination of art forms. An hour of poetry and jazz, starting at 9, celebrates the medium that made North Beach internationally famous, the only organization working to keep artists living in San Francisco, and the re-opening of the beautifully restored, 117-year-old Savoy.
One of our special guests is your favorite poet, Broke-Ass Stuart.
This event is free to the public, but donations keep nonprofits alive. Come and mingle, pick up some ArtHouseSF information, and enjoy an evening in this historic corner of old North Beach.
Saturday, June 24th, from 8 pm on, at the Savoy Tivoli, 1434 Grant Avenue, SF. Your host: arthousesf.org.
