Free Family Art Walk: Cura to Colibri (Morgan Hill)

Join us for our art walk, where there is something for the whole family! This educational tour spotlights artwork from our current exhibits. Start your art walk at Cura Contemporary, then make your way down to our sister gallery Colibri! This isn’t a tour where you’ll just be a listener. Everything in the tour is based on direct observation, no prior art knowledge required. No worries if this is your first time in a gallery! We’ll utilize a observational method for finding meaning in visual art through an engaging and interactive conversation. This event is most approachable for children, but all ages are welcome. There will be something for everyone to enjoy!

This activity will help children learn to strengthen their communication skills, critical thinking, and visual literacy. They’ll practice developing their own response to the artwork and constructing more complex ideas based on what they see.
