Ending Isolation: The Case Against Solitary Confinement
Join us for a powerful public conversation with the authors of Ending Isolation—Dr. Terry Kupers, Prof. Deborah Zalesne, and Chris Blackwell (calling in from prison)—alongside longtime justice advocate Dorsey Nunn. Hosted by Cat Brooks, activist and host of KPFA’s Law & Disorder, this evening will explore the devastating psychological and systemic impact of solitary confinement and the growing national movement to end it.
This event also marks the launch of the nationwide Journey to Justice Bus Tour, an immersive and educational experience featuring a model solitary cell, virtual reality, and storytelling spaces that bring the human cost of isolation into clear focus.
Special remote appearance by Angela Y. Davis.
Come for the conversation, stay for the movement.
