The Faight is pleased to present MIRRORS, a series of quiet confrontations by San Francisco-based artist Jenna Marie Hansen. Across each piece, textured monochromes hum with withheld emotion. Intimacy is rendered in restraint and memory pressed into form.
Influenced by the emotional residue of past relationships and the threshold between identity and transformation, Hansen works with acrylic and burl woods—materials chosen for their organic resistance and subtle irregularity.
MIRRORS reflects Hansen’s personal processing of relational dynamics, exploring how others become surfaces onto which we project, distort, and rediscover ourselves. In tracing these blurred edges and elusive shadows, the work speaks to our shared human experience. Layered linework represents the complexity of connection, the tension between closeness and distance, and the quiet truths that emerge in reflection.
Free to attend. Drinks available for purchase. Guests may also purchase tickets to our Sound Pour Event (Jazz and Wine tasting) taking place in our downstairs space that evening. Visit @thefaightsf on Instagram for more details.
