The Taste of Temescal is an exceptional culinary tour with over 40 stops, 4 entertainment zones of live performances and DJ’s and an after party “After Taste” hosted at 51&Tel. In 2026, Taste of Temescal proudly showcases neighborhood staples alongside businesses that have newly opened their doors in the district.

The Taste of Temescal offers the opportunity to stroll, explore, and enjoy some of Oakland’s best restaurants and bars with live entertainment throughout the event. With four entertainment hubs located at 40th & Broadway, Alcatraz & Telegraph, Temescal Plaza at 51st & Telegraph, and Panther Plaza at 45th & Telegraph Ave, an evening that will satisfy your tastebuds and keep your bodies tenderly in tune. In 2026, the event will also highlight a reusables program in partnership with East Bay Depot for Creative Reuse, supporting a more sustainable and eco-friendly experience.
