Get ready for a special Memorial Day Weekend edition of our “HellaSecret” comedy show in Oakland. A new series of pop-up live comedy shows at unique spots all across the Bay. We’ll take over a venue and you’ll get notified of the secret location.

This Memorial Day Weekend HellaSecret comedy show takes place in a secret bar in Oakland with a killer sound and light system that just opened earlier this year — and we’ve turned it into a pop-up comedy club for the holiday weekend.

We can’t wait to share it with you!

It’s a 70+ minute show with 4–5 comics on the bill with credits like Cobb’s, Punch Line, SF Sketchfest, ABC and NBC.

FOOD & DRINKS

The drinks menu features an expertly crafted cocktail selection from General Manager Yao Liow, formerly of Kincaid’s and Palomino, plus an elevated bar food menu from chef Alessandro Campitelli, formerly of Contrasto.

ABOUT THE VENUE

This bar is the latest inspiration from Oakland-based community champions Richard Fuentes and Sean Sullivan. The pair is best known for transforming the famed Port Bar into a must-visit destination for the LGBTQIA+ community, particularly queer people of color from all sides of the Bay.

The venue also has a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system — including two projectors, QSC Pro Audio speakers, and ADJ Jolt 300 lighting effects — helping transform the space into a true pop-up comedy club experience.

This nearly 5,000 sq. foot performance venue also features a rotating art collection focused on local artists of color, including pieces from local artist Derrick Bell.

The drinks menu features creative cocktails with rum, mezcal, tequila, vodka, and whiskey, plus beer, wine, and mocktails.
