Free James Bond Movie and 007 Trivia | Jack London Square

Two mythical figures, Jack London and James Bond are pairing up for a free Waterfront Flick evening. Come to Oakland’s Jack London Square for a free showing of Quantum of Solace, the 22nd film featuring Agent 007. Daniel Craig returns after reaching 00-status in the franchise’s reboot film Casino Royal and the movie follows him on his quest for vengeance for the death of his lover, Vesper Lynd. Bond was always a womanizer but who knew he was such a romantic, right?

But if you already know all the plot points then you should be prepped for an additional part of the evening: James Bond Trivia! A DVD prize pack will be awarded to the sharpest double agent. Jack London Square is also a nice place to get a martini before the movie. But if you want it a la Bond, you’ll have to ask for it “shaken, but not stirred.” Just be prepared for the eye-roll from your date.

Location: Jack London Square’s Market Lawn, an outdoor venue by the Oakland Estuary so be sure to bring a blanket and some warm clothes.
