Amoeba Music: Free In-Store Mini Concerts
Amoeba Music regularly welcomes traveling and local artists for in-store performances at their San Francisco and Berkeley locations.
Hear your favorite artists for free often right before they hit the stage elsewhere in the Bay Area.
Head to Amoeba Berkeley at 6 pm for a special Berkeley World Music Festival performance from The Dogon Lights.
A high-energy world fusion group, Dogon Lights creates an infectious and energetic dance atmosphere transporting the listener straight to the stars.
The band members play traditional Moroccan and West African harps, lutes, shakers, and djembe drum with electric bass, guitar, synthesizer, drums, sax, and flute. The West African tones and upbeat rhythms blended with electro hip-hop beats and Jimi Hendrix-inspired guitar provide layered dimensions to this exciting music.
