Free “Tickled Pink” Comedy Night | SF
From the co-producer of Comikaze Lounge, Stefani Silverman, comes the Tickled Pink monthly comedy night at Cafe Royale.
Tickled Pink is currently on hiatus.
Tickled Pink presents a line-up of local comics for the August show exploring the theme “The Future”:
- Johan Miranda
- Michael Montgomery
- Michael Capozzola
- Seth Alexander
- Clare O’Kane
- Stefani Silverman
About the comics:
- Michael Montgomery began stand-up at 17 in Los Angeles, and promptly quit because it was “all hard and lame and stuff.” However, after 15 years of learning he was even less talented at everything else, he is now one of the SF Bay Area’s least known (but least liked) comics.
- Mike Capozzola is a Bay Area Based stand up comedian and a published cartoonist. He’s contributed to The San Francisco Chronicle, TED Talks / TEDxSV, The New York Times, The Humor Times, National Lampoon, McSweeney’s, and Mad Magazine.
- Clare O’Kane is an actress and comedian from San Jose, California. She is a part of Sylvan Productions, a group of weirdos who produce wonderful comedy shows all over California. Clare has performed in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, SF Sketchfest, and other festivals where she mostly drank beer and felt weird.
- Johan Miranda – Since his comedy debut in September of 2010, he has performed at L.A.’s famous Comedy Store, Cobbs Comedy Club, the San Jose Improv, & the 142 Throckmorton Theatre. He placed 2nd in San Francisco’s 2011 Walk the Plank Comedy Competition and has been featured in the 2012 Santa Cruz Fringe Festival. He is terrified of spiders. Johan currently produces and hosts the Laugh Function comedy show every second and fourth Saturday, 8:30 pm at Pappy’s Grill & Sports Bar in Berkeley (2367 Telegraph Ave).
- Stefani Silverman is the host and producer of the show. She is a San Francisco based comic dedicated to finding meaning in life through humor. A former attorney, she uses her hard earned critical thinking skills to talk about such complex topics as food, sex and things she sees on Muni. Mostly observational, increasingly self revelatory, Stefani’s comedy will get you laughing and keep you thinking.
