The 2014 Mission Creek Oakland Music & Arts Festival is back during the month of September showcasing the musicians, artists, and venues on the sunny side of the bay (aka Oakland).
The festival is organized by a group of local promoters, artists, musicians, and the local weekly newspaper, East Bay Express.

25th Street Block Party | 2014 Mission Creek Oakland Music & Arts FestivalThe Art Beat Foundation and Mission Creek Oakland present the first annual 25th Street Block Party, a day-long, all-ages, celebration of music, art, and community on Saturday, September 21, 2013.
The Block Party will feature open galleries and businesses throughout the block, a full day of music held at the 25th Street Collective warehouse, and a delicious collection of area food trucks on the street.
2013 Music Line-Up:
(Stage at the 25th Street Collective Warehouse)
- 1 pm: Waiting Room (Oakland) – three-piece indie rock band
- 2 pm: Playboy School (LA) – incorporating the danceability of the beloved Friday night DJ set with showmanship that inspires nostalgia for a rock and roll era long past
- 3 pm: Super Natural (Oakland) – unique and modern take on sixties folk, eighties punk and new wave and nineties indie rock
- 4 pm: Yip Deceiver (Athens, GA) – tag-team all-analog dance duo, who broadcast sexxed-up jambox jaunts
- 5 pm: Vir (SF Bay Area) – post punk, noise pop trio based in the SF Bay Area,who love fuzz pedals, loops and lots of delay.
