Art & Drumming Day | Golden Gate Park

Besides cartwheel and playing catch, some of the best things you can do in a park are drumming in a circle and making art.

Lucky for you non-profit group Awakening Through Art, which explores use of creativity as a way to heal and bring communities together, is offering a FREE, fun and interactive day of drumming, art and music making in Golden Gate Park.

All materials provided and all are welcome–NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. We will provide drum instruction for beginners. Bring an instrument if you have one–otherwise, we will have plenty of drums available. We will have free-form music jam sessions, drum ensembles, painting and group activities throughout the day.
