Posadas on 24th Street: a community celebration | Mission

Come celebrate the Latin American tradition of “Las Posadas.”

Children and adults will proceed down lower 24th Street, singing traditional Christmas songs and visiting local merchants along the route.

People of all cultures are welcome to come and participate; song lyrics will be provided, along with candles and sparklers for the procession.

SCHEDULE:

• 5:45 – Gather at the corner of 24th and Capp Streets.
• 6:00 – Procession begins.
• 7:00 – Community celebration at the Brava Theater (2781 24th Street, at the corner of York Street) with free food and drink, music, and piñatas for the kids.
