Golden Gate Park Band kicks off 133rd season of free Sunday outdoor concerts.

The Golden Gate Park Band, under the direction of Michael L. Wirgler, presents the 133rd season in Golden Gate Park’s music concourse.
The weekly concerts take place most Sundays at 1 pm and are free and open to the public. All concerts feature music of specific nationalities or cultures, including costumed guest performances from dancers, singers and speakers, who will enlighten and entertain.
The Kick-off concert for 2015 takes place April 19 with the Poet and Peasant Overture (Bugs Bunny’s favorite), music by Bizet and Sousa, Music from Evita
and the New World Symphony
