What are one’s rights at work? Students at the Free University of San Francisco will learn about some of the basic protections afforded to California workers.
Every Tuesday from April 12 through May 10, join instructors Darin Ranahan & Tim Phillips for the Free 2-hour informative lectures. This week’s topic is Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
The Free University of SF is a community center that offers coursework completely free of charge. Just show up.
Schedule of Topics:
April 19: Wage and hour law (minimum wages, overtime, breaks, etc.)
April 26: Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation
May 3: Right to time off work (family and medical leave)
May 10: Alternative work arrangements (unions, collectives, etc.)
