Event Details

Join SLATE contemporary for an Artists’ Tour of the exhibition Crystallography. Artists Peter Tonningsen, Liz Hickok, and Jamie Banes will present their work and talk about their processes and influences. Lead by SLATE Director Danielle Fox. Fox will also speak on behalf of exhibiting artist Henry Riekena, who is unable to attend.

Crystallography features paintings, photography, sculptures, and videos of urban-inspired artworks. Crystals are defined as solid materials whose constituents, such as atoms, molecules, or ions, are arranged in a highly ordered microscopic structure, forming a crystal lattice that extends in all directions.
