Emperor Norton was one wacked out dude – a San Francisco legend (the “frank chu” of his era times a thousand) – Joshua Abraham Norton proclaimed himself Emperor of the United States and even printed his own currency which was honored throughout The City in the 1850s and 1860s.
Tonight historian Peter Moylan comes to Cafe Royale and gives an illustrated presentation on the life and times of SF’s most color character.
