Cafe Royale hosts a free show from a San Francisco band that is clearly trying to be two very different things at once.

Parlor Tricks bills itself as an industrial rock/ragtime roots band that is part Fats Waller, part Led Zeppelin. It’s vaudevillian in its delivery, dark and soaring at once.
