Enjoy a potluck and some prose at the SOMArts Cultural Center’s monthly Feast of Words: A Literary Potluck.
A place where writers and foodies can come together to eat, write and share, July’s meet-up will feature poet Cole Krawitz and chef Justin Belluomini, as well as an on-the-spot writing competition inspired by this month’s focus on the theme of “deconstruct.” This theme, taken from The Book, a multimedia exhibition and contemporary dance performance series, explores the relationship between artists and their work, and is meant to encourage both writers and chefs alike to “consider their practice, break it open and create anew.”
