Hawaii Fair & Festival: Waikiki Paradise | Japantown

Pretend you’re eating lau lau at a luau at a free Hawaiian celebration featuring arts & crafts, hula lessons, a screening of Elvis Presley’s “Blue Hawaii” and more on Saturday, August 20 in the Japan Center Mall.

So get ready to do the hukilau at an afternoon of live music, ti leaf bracelet making and origami, and bring a little bit of Honolulu to San Francisco with some hip-shaking and Spam musubi.

Waikiki Paradise Schedule

2-4 PM: Ohana Fun: Free youth activities including hula lessons, ti leaf bracelet making, origami and more!
4-6PM: Tour of Polynesia Concert: Featuring entertainment from the Polynesian Islands
6-8 PM: Waikiki Through the Years Concert: Featuring Kumu Hula Meleana Manuel and Hula Halau Ke’Olu Makani’O Mauna Loa
8 PM: Free Screening: Blue Hawaii
