One of SF’s Boutique Hotels Turns Into an Art Gallery
San Francisco’s stARTup Art Fair is one of the most unique art shows you’re likely to ever encounter.
The entire hotel is shut down for three days, and instead of the hotel’s 47 rooms occupied by tourists, all the rooms are taken over by 50+ hand-picked artists and turned into a pop-up art gallery.
That’s right, rather than taking place in a stuffy art gallery, this three-day art festival takes place on the grounds and in the actual hotel rooms of the boutique Hotel del Sol, a unique 1950s-era motor lodge all spruced up for the 21st century.
